Fullstack Software Developer – C# & Angular

Xprizo is looking for a Fullstack Software Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

We want to revolutionize the world of financial services for underserved communities. You will build cloud-based software that allows frictionless access to a rich array of financial services using the latest technologies, as well as software integrations with a variety of payment processors which enable these financial services.

You are expected to have strong and demonstrable working experience in both C# and Angular development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a growing team of talented software developers.
  • Support product delivery by building, testing, and releasing production quality software utilizing best engineering practices.
  • Liaise and cooperate with team members, partner teams and stakeholders as necessary in investigating new technologies, and researching, designing, writing and releasing software, as well as supporting and maintaining said software.
  • In the case of research tasks, production of appropriate research documentation.
  • In the case of design tasks, production of appropriate design documentation, including documentation of any product feature or performance limitations or other risks arising out of design decisions, as well as proposing options for addressing or mitigating such risks and limitations.
  • In the case of implementation tasks:
    • Implementation according to generally accepted software development practice – writing simple, clean and secure code, including all the necessary care and precautions to produce code which has minimal defects, complexity, and technical debt, as well as the production of clear and complete documentation.
    • Test own work with a view to minimal work items being returned for defects to be fixed.
  • Refactor, optimize and improve existing code for better maintainability and scalability, and to reduce technical debt in general.
  • Ensure correct and timely defect resolution, liaising and cooperating with other team members as required.
  • Provide operational support for implemented software.
  • Troubleshoot, identify root causes of, and remediate complex technical issues.
  • Liaise, cooperate with and assist other teams in reproducing, investigating and resolving defects and issues reported from the field.

Requiements

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development with C#
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Adept at communicating ideas and working in a team
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to context switch while still delivering on commitments
  • Knowledge of software design patterns; Able to grasp and quickly become productive in an existing design
  • Very fluent in C#, with knowledge and experience of associated frameworks and technologies such as ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core
  • Able to work with relational databases, MySQL or PostgreSQL (MySQL preferred); high-performance, in-memory data store technologies such as Redis; message broker technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Experience building, integrating, and testing REST APIs, and proficiency with associated tools and technologies such as Swagger, Open API Spec, and Postman; Experience with Azure App Service highly preferred
  • Knowledge of security standards, encryption methods, and related best practices, as well as modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT)

  • Prior experience with Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus, but is not a must
  • FinTech experience in areas such as payment gateways, payment aggregators, card issuing and acquiring, and merchant integrations, would be awesome

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in QA to join our dynamic team.

Due to high levels of growth, we are searching for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join the team. This is a crucial position focused on ensuring that our product is as defect-free as possible with scale-up experience which we would need to support us moving forward.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing automated test scripts, handling large volumes of data, and working with modern QA tools and frameworks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects promptly.

Additionally, experience in the Fintech industry and knowledge of financial regulations will be advantageous, as the QA Engineer will contribute to maintaining compliance and reliability in our software solutions.

Merchant Business Development Executive

The Merchant Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding Xprizo’s Merchant network by proactively identifying, engaging, and establishing partnerships with businesses across various industries. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Merchants, ensuring they understand the value proposition of using Xprizo’s payment platform, thereby driving adoption and increasing our user base. By focusing on financial inclusion and promoting secure digital transactions, the Merchant Business Development Executive will contribute to the company’s mission of fostering an inclusive and digitally connected economy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify Prospective Merchants: Conduct market research to identify potential Merchants that align with Xprizo’s target industries and user base. Seek out merchants ranging from small businesses to larger enterprises to maximize market penetration.
  2. Client/Merchants Acquisition: Identifying potential clients and developing strategies to attract new customers.
  3. Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision- makers at prospective Merchant businesses. To ensure repeat business and client retention. Cultivate these relationships to foster trust and confidence in Xprizo’s payment solutions.
  4. Understand Merchant Needs: Engage with Merchants to understand their specific requirements, pain points, and objectives related to accepting digital payments. Tailor Xprizo’s value proposition to address individual Merchant needs effectively.
  5. Sales Presentations: Conducting presentations or pitches to potential clients, tailored to their needs and preferences.
  6. Promote Xprizo’s Solutions: Present Xprizo’s payment platform and demonstrate its benefits, highlighting its potential to enhance their businesses’ efficiency, security, and financial.
  7. Negotiate Agreements: Negotiating contracts and terms of Sales with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborate with the Legal and Finance teams to negotiate and finalize contractual agreements with Merchants, ensuring mutual benefits and a win-win.
  8. Meeting Sales/KPI Targets: Achieving individual and team Sales targets to contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
  9. Facilitate Onboarding: Coordinate with the Operations and Technical teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for merchants, providing support and guidance throughout the integration.
  10. Monitor Performance Metrics: Continuously track and analyze the performance of the Merchant network, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve targets.
  11. Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends and customer needs to advise on Product Development and positioning. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Regulatory changes that may impact Xprizo’s business and be prepared to adapt strategies.
  12. Feedback and Reporting: Providing feedback from Customers to the Marketing and Product Development Teams and submitting Sales reports to upper Management on a regular basis.

Customer Service Lead

  • Overseeing a team of customer support representatives, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Monitoring and assessing the quality of customer interactions to ensure that service standards are met or exceeded. This may involve call monitoring, call tacking, reviewing tickets, and providing feedback to team members.
  • Handling escalated customer issues that cannot be resolved by 1st Line support staff. This may involve complex inquiries, complaints, or technical issues that require your expertise.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving customer support processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This could involve implementing new tools or technologies, refining workflows, or updating policies and procedures.
