Now it was time to say hello to the UAE. Xprizo returned to the Emirates to hold important meetings with some key partners. This time was made more special thanks to our Head of Operations joining the team in the UAE for his first visit in this role. Being here gave us the chance to reconnect with our local partner Forsee payments and continue discussions to explore the best way to maximise our partnership.
From there we met with the owners of a local fintech called Encryptus which focuses on crypto to fiat exchange with integrations directly to banks in several countries. They were founded by a tech entrepreneur and senior ex-visa executive, so have considerable cachet. We immediately agreed to sign an agreement to integrate their system which would facilitate our bank to crypto and vice-versa OTC.
Then it was time to meet with several other entities. One will be looking to integrate our wallet solution on their website for onramp and offramp operations, but also work deeper with us offering access to their exchange to be able to offer crypto wallets directly to our users internationally.
Another focused on agreeing to sign them up as agents in the UAE to handle cash transactions for Xprizo. This makes the third corporation that showed willingness to be our agent on the ground
To cap off a wonderful few weeks, we then made a courtesy visit to the Ambassador Maria Camilleri Calleja. She was delighted to see us again and was fully prepared with detailed questions about the offering and a list of merchants she wanted to introduce us to. She has agreed to introduce us to a host of local brands operating in the region.
