Xavier is passionate about empowerment and financial inclusion. These principles are ones which Xprizo tirelessly works on to deliver using its intuitive fintech platform to assist the underbanked and unbanked across the world.

The move to Xprizo was a natural one for Xavier, driven by his admiration for Richard Mifsud, a close friend and the Chief Visionary Officer. Mifsud’s determination and drive were clear to see that the business would do great things.

At Xprizo, Xavier is heavily involved in driving sustainable growth, utilising his diverse expertise to integrate various aspects of business development, marketing, product innovation, and strategic planning.

Xavier’s experience stretches more than 11 years within the Blockchain and Fintech industries. Prior to this, he was active in the field of credit risk and compliance. This allowed him to have a thorough understanding of the complexities and opportunities in both traditional banking and the Fintech sector, as well as helping companies to understand the complex regulations surrounding fintech and blockchain.

Before arriving at Xprizo, Xavier held roles in both the public and private sectors, spanning industries such as Legal, Recruitment, and Telecoms. Each role armed him with a well-rounded perspective and a wealth of knowledge that he brings to his current position.

Outside of the office, Xavier loves football and is an avid Liverpool FC fan. He practises Taekwondo, enjoys reading and travelling.

A perfect vacation would see Xavier exploring new cultures and cuisines through travel. Particularly “off-the-beaten-path” destinations where he can immerse himself in local traditions and history. His top places to visit are China, Russia and South America.

Xavier is fluent in English, written Arabic and Urdu, and a little Tagalog.
