As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven QA Engineer to spearhead our existing IT Development Team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in QA to join our dynamic team.

Due to high levels of growth, we are searching for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join the team. This is a crucial position focused on ensuring that our product is as defect-free as possible with scale-up experience which we would need to support us moving forward.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing automated test scripts, handling large volumes of data, and working with modern QA tools and frameworks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects promptly.

Additionally, experience in the Fintech industry and knowledge of financial regulations will be advantageous, as the QA Engineer will contribute to maintaining compliance and reliability in our software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Automated Testing Development: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium or others.
• Test Plan Creation: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements, with a strong focus on automation.
• Data Validation: Perform data validation and integrity checks on large data sets to ensure accuracy and compliance, using automated processes where possible.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain best practices for QA processes, focusing on automation to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Performance Testing: Conduct automated performance testing to evaluate system performance and scalability, utilizing tools like JMeter.
• Security Testing: Ensure that security tests are automated into the development pipeline

Requirements:

• Experience in QA Automation: Proven experience in QA with a strong focus on automated testing and scripting.
• Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting languages such as C #, Python, JavaScript, or Bash for developing automated tests.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and familiarity with test automation frameworks.
• Large Data Handling: Experience in testing applications that handle large volumes of data, including data validation and integrity checks.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferred but not required.
• Work history: Experience in Fintech heavily preferred.
